band performances, this event brings together diverse musical expressions on one
stage.
Music - General Rules
- All performances must maintain musical integrity, cultural sensitivity, and decorum.
- Lyrics or compositions containing obscenity, hate speech, or political messaging are
strictly prohibited. - Exceeding the prescribed time limit may result in penalty or disqualification.
- Judgesβ decisions are final and binding.
Rules & Guidelines
- The competition is open to both Solo and Group performances.
- Each college may send one entry for Solo and one entry for Group.
- A group may consist of 2-6 members.
– - must reflect Indian musical heritage, including Classical,
Semi-classical, Bhajan, Devotional, Folk, or Traditional compositions. - Solo: 4-6 minutes; Group: 8-10 minutes
- Participants may perform with live instruments or karaoke tracks.
- Karaoke tracks must not contain lead vocals.
- Participants must bring their audio track in MP3 format on a pen drive.
- Basic acoustic instruments such as tanpura, harmonium, tabla, or other traditional
instruments are permitted if arranged by the participants. - Performances should preserve the essence of Indian musical traditions.
- Excessive remixing or distortion of traditional compositions is discouraged.
- Participants must report 30 minutes prior to the event.

Vox and vibes
Concept & Intent
Ranga Nayaka celebrates the power of theatre as a mirror of life. It invites performers
to bring stories, emotions, conflicts, and human experiences to the stage
through powerful expression, movement, and storytelling. Whether through dialogue,
silent expression, or character portrayal, the stage becomes a space where
society, imagination, and emotions come alive.
General Rules
- Performances must respect the grammar of the chosen dance form.
- Vulgarity or inappropriate gestures are strictly prohibited.
- Participants must report in full costume and makeup.
- Music tracks must be submitted in advance in MP3 format.
- Exceeding the time limits will attract negative marking.
Rules & Guidelines
- Each college may send one Solo and one Group entry.
- A group may consist of 2-6 members.
- Participants may perform any Western genre such as Pop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Indie,
Rap, or Contemporary Western music. - Time Limit: Solo: 4-6 minutes; Group: 8-10 minutes.
- Songs may be performed primarily in English or any Western language.
- Participants may perform with karaoke tracks or live instruments.
- Karaoke tracks must not contain lead vocals.
- Tracks must be submitted in MP3 format via pen drive.
- Acoustic instruments such as guitar, keyboard, cajon, etc. are permitted.
- Participants may perform covers or original compositions. Creativity
in arrangement and interpretation is encouraged. - Participants must report 30 minutes before the event begins.

MIME
Concept & Intent
Devas vs Asuras – The Eternal Battle transforms the ramp into a mythological narrative, portraying the timeless conflict between divine forces (Devas) and powerful warriors (Asuras). Through costumes, makeup, expressions, and movement, participants visually represent the contrasting energies of light and darkness, harmony and ambition, order and rebellion.
The intent of this theme is to blend fashion with storytelling, encouraging participants
to creatively interpret mythological characters and present them with strong
stage presence. The ramp walk aims to create a dramatic visual experience that celebrates culture, creativity, and character portrayal, making the show more than just
a walk but a performative narrative.
Rules & Guidelines
- Team Size: 4-8 members
- Time Limit: 6-8 minutes
- Absolute silence in dialogue
- Only instrumental background music allowed
- Background music is to be pre-recorded and submitted in a pen drive in MP3 format at the reporting time to the event incharge.
- Emphasis should be on facial expressions and body language

Silver Screen
Concept & Intent
Silver Screen Unfolded challenges participants to reinterpret a chosen movie
within 25 minutes, transforming cinema into a dynamic stage experience. Instead
of simply narrating the plot, teams must creatively unfold the film’s story, characters,
themes, and iconic moments using elements such as PPT presentations, live
acting, voice-overs, and scene recreations.
The focus is on interpretation rather than imitation, encouraging participants to
showcase their analytical understanding of cinema, creativity, and storytelling
skills. By blending performance with visual media, the event celebrates the magic
of films and the power of storytelling beyond the screen.
Rules & Guidelines
- This is a team event with 2-6 participants per team. Each college may send one
team entry. - Teams may choose any movie (any language or genre).
- The content must be appropriate for a college audience.
- Teams may use PowerPoint presentations, live acting, voice-overs, narration,
background music, or visual aids. - Total time allowed: 25 minutes for Performing ( 5 minutes for setup).
- Participants must bring all media files in a pen drive (MP3/MP4/PPT).
- Basic AV support (projector, microphone, speakers) will be provided.
- Teams must report 30 minutes prior to the event.

MANGALYA
Concept & Intent
Mangalya – A Bridal Narrative is not merely about make-up application.
It is about telling a bridal story. Participants must design a bridal look
that reflects culture, emotion, occasion, and personality.
Rules & Guidelines
- Concept explanation mandatory: Each team must explain the bridal theme,
occasion, and choice of colour & jewellery. - No ready-made Prosthetics: Artificial facial structures not allowed; Natural facial
features must be respected - Transformation is Key: Judges observe before-after impact, Skin prep & base quality
are important - Product Ethics: Only skin-safe, cruelty-free products allowed, Harmful chemicals
are prohibited. - Only registered artist may touch the model
- Copying celebrity bridal looks will lead to disqualification: Inspiration is allowed,
imitation is not allowed
