Silver Screen

Silver Screen Unfolded challenges participants to reinterpret a chosen movie
within 25 minutes, transforming cinema into a dynamic stage experience. Instead
of simply narrating the plot, teams must creatively unfold the film’s story, characters,
themes, and iconic moments using elements such as PPT presentations, live
acting, voice-overs, and scene recreations.

The focus is on interpretation rather than imitation, encouraging participants to
showcase their analytical understanding of cinema, creativity, and storytelling
skills. By blending performance with visual media, the event celebrates the magic
of films and the power of storytelling beyond the screen.

  • This is a team event with 2-6 participants per team. Each college may send one
    team entry.
  • Teams may choose any movie (any language or genre).
  • The content must be appropriate for a college audience.
  • Teams may use PowerPoint presentations, live acting, voice-overs, narration,
